Parcel Delight

I had a lovely surprise this morning, which was great as it's a very wet and windy day (but not as bad as in Tokyo).  I received my goody bag in the Global Piecers' sewing bag swap from my partner, Sandy.  Not only had Sandy made me a wonderful bag in lovely fabrics, she had filled it with all kinds of yummy things including fabric for an apron, a crocheted necklace, magazines, sewing gizmos and these lovely coasters:
Sandy was really kind and put in a little something for my beloved Sam:
Thank you Sandy, I love it all and it made my day opening the package and discovering all the lovely things you had included.  I'm off upstairs now to rearrange my packing because I think that delicious bag has got to come to Japan with me.

  1. Oh all your friends are so lovely to Sam :)
I love that the bag and coasters will match perfectly at the Bach - (was that known / deliberate??) as well as the bag matching your summer clothes colour scheme. Good work Sandy!

  8. What a lovely surprise, all these great gifts! The bag looks perfect for shopping in Japan.
You'll have to hurry; the cherry trees are opening their flowers fast. We did indeed have a wild storm - a typhoon in SPRING has not occurred since 1954. Hopefully the weather has stabilised by the time of your arrival.
Have a good flight and see you soon.
    Happy Easter.
